Protection grade of LED tri-proof light

At present, there are two main protection levels of LED waterproof fitting, IP and IK protection respectively. IP protection is drafted by IEC to classify the dust-proof and moisture proof characteristics of electrical appliances. IP protection consists of two numbers. The first number represents the level of dust prevention and foreign intrusion prevention of electrical appliances, and the last number represents the degree of tightness of electrical appliances against moisture and water immersion. The larger the number, the higher the protection level. The dust-proof grade ranges from 0 to 6, indicating that there is no protection to completely prevent the invasion of foreign objects and dust. The waterproof grade ranges from 0 to 8, indicating that there is no protection to prevent water from being immersed when sinking.

IK protection standard is applicable to the protection classification of electrical equipment enclosures with rated voltage not exceeding 72.5 kV against external mechanical collision, and only applicable to enclosures with special requirements for the protection classification of external mechanical collision. It is represented by a combination of numbers. The level range is from 00 to 10, and the greater the number, the higher the degree of protection.
